Chinese equities continued its losses and ended lower at midday Monday, led by financial and property sectors.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dipped 1.62 percent to 2,344.23points, while the Shenzhen Component Index dropped 2.16 percent to close at 9,028.34.
