Hardcover.Annotations on the Mirror of Poetry: Wonderful Sound and Happy Songs is a famous work by the Fifth Dalai Lama. The author was a disciple of the Fifth Dalai Lama and an influential person in political and religious fields in Tibet. He was once an official in charge of political and religious affairs under the Fifth Dalai Lama, including the repair and expansion of the Potala Palace and the construction of the pagoda for keeping the body of the Fifth Dalai Lama, and proofread and collated Four Medical Classics. Also he made concrete notes on Annotations on the Mirror of Poetry: Wonderful Sound and Happy Songs which he used as lecture materials while teaching poetry to the Sixth Dalai Lama Tsangyang Gyatso. This book was completed in 1699. The present edition is based on a rare handwritten cop y offered by Dongkar Losang Trinley.
