Northwest China: May 15 to 16, northern Xinjiang will have light rain or showers with force 4 to 6 northerly winds while eastern sections of the region will see overcast skies with showers. May 17 to 19, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy. May 20 to 21, northern Xinjiang will continue to have light rain or showers with force 4 to 6 northerly winds while the remainder sections will be sunny to cloudy.
North China: May 15 to 16, some of the region will be overcast with light rain or showers with force 4 to 6 southerly, then northerly winds in northernmost sections. Central and western sections of Inner Mongolia will see floating dust. May 17 to 18, most of the region will have light to moderate rain or showers with heavy rainfall expected in some areas, while northern sections will have force 4 to 6 southerly or northerly winds with possible floating dust in some places. May 20 to 21, the region will see more rainfall.
Northeast China: May 15 to 16, some parts will be overcast with light rain or showers as well as force 4 northerly winds. May 17 to 18, most of the region will experience light to moderate rain or showers. May 20 to 21, most of the region will continue to have light to moderate rain or showers with force northerly winds.
Central China: May 15 to 16, northern Henan will be cloudy to overcast with showers while the remainder parts of central China will be under sunny to cloudy skies. May 17 to 18, southern Hunan will have thunderstorms. May 20 to 21, most of the region will continue to have rainfall.
East China: May 15 to 16, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy, with possible light rain or showers in northern Shandong Province on May 16. May 17 to 19, most areas south of the Yangtze River will have light to moderate rain or thundershowers with heavy to stormy rainfall in some areas and even downpour in some places accompanied by strong winds. May 20 to 21, areas north of the Yangtze River will see light to moderate rain or showers with heavy rainfall in some areas.
South China: Affected by tropical air, May 15, coastal areas will meet thunderstorms with strong winds. May 16 to 17, most of the region will have light to moderate rain or thundershowers while eastern Guangxi, Guangdong and eastern Hainan Island will experience gales and rainstorms and some places will meet cloudburst. May 18, eastern Guangdong will continue to receive rainstorms and gales. May 20 to 21, western parts of the region will have light to moderate rain or thunderstorms.
Southwest China: May 15 to 16, eastern Tibet, western Sichuan and western Yunnan will meet light to moderate rain or sleet. May 17 to 18, eastern Tibet will have light to moderate rain or sleet while eastern sections of the region will meet light to moderate rain or showers. May 20 to 21, eastern Tibet and eastern sections of the region will experience another precipitation, while some eastern Sichuan and Guizhou Province will have moderate to heavy rain with possible storms in some areas.
