Hainan Tropical Wildlife Garden

At the Dongshan lake front which is 27 kilometers from Haikou city, in Dongshan town, Qiongshan district, Haikou, Hainan Tropical Wildlife Garden is the first theme garden on tropical wildlife in China.

This is actually a tropical zoological garden which imitates the environment of the wild, covering total area of 1.3 square kilometers, in which visitors can take a look at various kinds of tropical animal in their relatively wild state. Altogether about 200 tropical wild animals are fed in the wild here in the garden including some of the rare species. For example, visitors may take a ride to watch the lion, the tiger, and the black bear in the wild state; may go to see the elephant, the giraffe, the crocodile, the hippo, the python, the lizard and the pony, and so on; may go to play with the monkeys and take a walk in the world of the tropical birds; may enjoy the performance of all kinds of tropical birds and animals. Visitors can also just enjoy themselves by the lake in the vocational area. There are several tropical canteens in the garden which provide peculiar tropical dishes to the visitors too.
