The DPRK has refused, to hold any more, talks with South Korea, claiming Seoul isnt serious about improving relations.

Pyongyang toughened its stance a day after, acrimony abruptly ended, the first inter-Korean talks since the exchange of fire in November. The talks raised hopes of improved inter-Korean relations after the island attack, and the sinking of South Korea's warship last March. The two-day discussions, were aimed at laying the groundwork for higher-level defense talks. But Pyongyang says South Korea is sticking to "unreasonable" demands, that Pyongyang must first take measures in response to the island attack and ship sinking.

News reader of DPRK State Television said, "In the course of the preliminary talks, the South Korean delegation were at a loss as to how to deal with the North's just compromise suggestion and perfect logic. They unilaterally insisted on adopting `responsible measures` regarding the above-said incidents, and `giving assurances against additional provocations` as the agenda of the talks, up until the last moment when the talks broke down."
